Wellness City Challenge Wins Walnut Creek
 The Helen Putnam Award for Excellence!

The Wellness City Challenge earned a 2007 Helen Putnam Award for Excellence for Walnut Creek from the California League of Cities. Sponsored by the League Partners Program, the prestigious Helen Putnam Award for Excellence recognizes outstanding efforts and innovative solutions made by cities each year throughout the state of California.  The League honored Walnut Creek as one of 28 cities in the state receiving this year’s award at the League’s recent annual conference in Sacramento.
