About our Health Care Sponsors

The Healthy Restaurant Association has forged a unique collaboration with the City’s major healthcare providers, John Muir Health and Kaiser Permanente, as well as with local branches of the American Heart Association and the American Diabetic Association. Health and nutritional expertise from these institutions provide the HRA with sound scientific information that forms the foundation of our outreach program efforts. In addition, they offer us key health professionals to speak at our educational seminars, serve as our advisors and keep us updated on the latest health and nutrition-related research. They are regularly informed of the HRA’s projects and provide feedback and technical review.
